HARDY'S MERLOT SPOILT

Luke (Guest) on Monday, November 26 2012, 06:29 PM
Being really disappointed by procession a bottle I purchased in 2011. Did the effective recommended 3 minutes process... Not good, flat. I pushed to 4 minutes and it was worse : very flat taste and not that pleasant aftertaste one gets from a good Merlot.
What is going on ? I am so disappointed because it usually works well...:(

    Hi Luke,

Sorry for that. In fact more recent machines have another processing method : going by little steps...
If you read below the story of the small party... you might read that wines are so diverse, going by small steps is the safest way to reach your optimum taste. In fact my advice for HARDY'S Merlot is 45 seconds far below 3 minutes.
But I do apologize because the French version of how processing wines has not been translated in English. The confusion cames from Manual in your Bonificateur ADAGE box.
So remember my words and not that version I need to amend. I send you my last HARDY'S from my cellar so that you get satisfaction from a rich very balanced Merlot with just the tannin that are required and leave a lasting and pleasant aftertaste.;)

    Cheers

    Jean

    See you
